The Coaching Process
Coaching is an opportunity to gain clarity, confidence, and direction—whether in your personal or professional life. My approach is human-centered, strengths-based, and flexible to meet you where you are.
Whether you’re working toward career growth, better life-work balance, or improving relationships, my coaching sessions are tailored to your goals and focus on creating meaningful change.
My Coaching Philosophy

Client-Centered & Individualized
Every person is unique, so our coaching partnership is built around your specific needs, challenges, and strengths. The process is tailored to you.

Action-Oriented & Reflective
We balance self-inquiry, reflection, and practical strategy, using a mix of methods such as journaling, visualization, and experiential exercises to move toward change.

Strengths-Based & Trauma-Informed
We focus on what’s already working for you and build from there. Personal and professional growth is part of a larger human development process.

Supportive Yet Challenging
Change is a process, and I help you step forward with confidence, accountability, and clear next steps.

What Happens in a Coaching Session?
Each session is a focused conversation designed to help you gain clarity and take action. Here’s what you can expect:
-
A Safe, Supportive Space – Sessions take place via phone or video, providing a space where you can reflect, explore, and strategize.
-
A Guided Process – Coaching follows a structured but flexible approach, including:
-
Awareness: Identifying challenges, values, and goals
-
Visioning: Imagining possibilities and potential solutions
-
Exploration: Investigating options and experimenting with ideas
-
Strategy: Defining steps to move forward
-
-
Accountability & Follow-Through – Coaching extends beyond our calls. Clients commit to action steps, and follow-up helps keep momentum going.

Who do you work with?I specialize in individual life and career coaching for professionals juggling work and family, career transitions, leadership roles, and personal growth. Many of my clients are mid-career professionals, recently promoted leaders, or individuals seeking clarity and confidence in their next steps.
-
Do you offer structured coaching programs? While every coaching relationship includes foundational elements (like a welcome questionnaire and orientation session), there’s no rigid program. Instead, I tailor coaching to your needs, whether that’s self-discovery, career strategy, leadership development, or relationship improvement.
-
How do I know if coaching is right for me?If you’ve ever thought, “I want to ___, but I don’t know how,” coaching can help. Whether you’re feeling stuck in your career, seeking more balance in life, or wanting to improve relationships, coaching provides guidance, clarity, and actionable strategies.
-
How can I book a session?I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit for each other. You can book a call using the contact form on my website.
-
Do you offer in-person sessions?Currently, all coaching sessions are conducted online or via phone. I work with clients in Bloomington, Indiana, and beyond.
-
Do you accept insurance? No, coaching is not covered by insurance. However, coaching is an investment in your growth, providing personalized support beyond regularly scheduled meetings, coaching often includes exercises, resources, and communication for support between calls.
-
How much does coaching cost?Pricing varies depending on session frequency and coaching duration. Since coaching is more than just a single session, I offer flexible, subscription-based individual sessions after the initial commitment. Contact me for current rates. I am committed to making coaching accessible, and to providing safe space for people to explore possibilities, so I offer reduced rate options and I reserve space for pro-bono coaching. If you are genuinely interested in coach support, and you imagine a reduced rate may apply in your current circumstances, contact me to talk about options.
