Coaching & Development for Organizations

People are the foundation of an organization. Imagine the difference between an organization where people feel valued, recognized for their individual contributions and strengths, and safe to express their creative superpowers, and one where they feel invisible, disengaged, unsupported or devalued. Think of a 3-legged race; it relies on getting in sync, and each person doing their part. There is a significant difference between a team that links arms at the elbows, and steps in tune together, and one who elbows each other or steps on each other. As our world continues to change, an organization without a culture that supports people, stepping in tune for growth of their individuals and their goals, is at a significant disadvantage.

Organizations can create a new trajectory by making an investment in people. Often emerging leaders and leaders transitioning to a new role or project resonate with my services. My specialty is supporting leaders and professionals working for a cause. I work with not-for-profit organizations, higher education professionals, and leaders of small businesses who care about relationship building, or a sustainability, social justice, or service cause.

I support organizations by supporting individuals through organization sponsorship. People I work with care about the triple bottom line – their own wellness, the people they work with, and the world & results we collectively create. They want to reach more of their personal and professional potential; and create environments where people and projects thrive. Still, they are human, so challenges or conflicts are inevitable. This might show up as:

  • feeling scattered across too many projects or too many things to do

  • values misalignment between an individual and the organization

  • worry over scope creep, performance goals, or metrics

  • accountability imbalances like micromanagement or so much autonomy that direction is not clear

  • lacking trust and interpersonal conflicts

  • relating in remote or hybrid work environments

  • imposter syndrome

  • indecision or misalignment on priorities

  • burnout and high stress

I coach to address and prevent such things. If a potential coaching partnership rings true for you, consider a coaching subscription for ongoing support exploring multiple challenges, goals, or needs.

“As someone who has spent much of her work life focused on identifying and fixing weaknesses, that’s the way I was approaching my lead role:  what didn’t I have that I needed to be successful, and how could I get it?  This entire coaching process now has me considering how I more frequently and intentionally tune in to my strengths and apply them as I try to effectively achieve goals, resolve issues, etc.  Powerful!  Having your support as a Coach through this process, while modeling effective coaching skills and traits, has been priceless.”

“My hope going into coaching was to allow space for me to think through my new promotion and my hopes and expectations were met 100%. I walked away from each coaching session with detailed notes and ideas and specific next steps. This experience was so timely for me and know the investment I made in myself by allowing time for coaching, will pay off.”

"Brandi led the creation of a statewide career coaching model that included widespread training to 50+ Career Coaches, Executive Directors, and many other... staff. Her attention to detail in implementing these efforts was evident in her choices in professional development for the team, developing meaningful metrics, and making decisions that would have the greatest positive impact on our students."

"It is an honor to recommend Brandi to anyone who might be seeking a mentor in the field of career coaching or seeking a fantastic coach. Prior to working with Brandi, I worked in career development, but had not touched the surface of the tools available to me as a coach. Brandi was hired to help build a culture within career coaching and she did an amazing job creating a sustainable culture that has helped to lift up thousands... around the State of Indiana."
