Coaching is a Partnership
 

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."

 

Often times the opportunity to maximize personal or professional potential shows up as:

  • work-life spillover

  • stress, overwhelm, or burnout

  • difficult relationships at home or work

  • needs that are not getting met

  • an urge to explore and discern what's next in life

  • an unmet longing or desire

  • a search for meaning or purpose

  • hitting a wall with an important project or venture

​The coaching services I provide support people in safe space to process through such challenges and explore for new awareness. New awareness can drive new thinking, behavior, and new skills that result in development. 

 

Whether you are moving through a personal or professional challenge, aspiring to achieve a goal or fill a need, or aligning with your true values and purpose, you are doing the work of (human) development. A coaching partnership supports this development process. Your process leads you to identify more about who you really are, then to acquire the behaviors and skills to live and work more harmoniously from that emerging identity - at work, in relationships, and in life. My approach as a coach is to partner with you to support this emergence; even when it feels tough.
